A pretty cool match
Background
- Founded find, a company with a mission to organize and distribute the world's knowledge.

- We get weekly inbound talent requests without listing any open positions based on our messaging
- I recently received and MBA from Carnegie Mellon where I focused on Entrepreneurship and Human Computer Interaction.
- I grew my team at 200% YoY in my previous career and was responsible for rebuilding our complex on-boarding process
- I'm insanely customer centric. My favorite work is customer discovery, testing and implementation work. I've led massive customer implementations at companies like SpaceX, Volvo, Boeing and Whirlpool.
- I'm a business guy. But I partake in a photography, storytelling, among other things.

Ideas I'd love to work on
Community
- Building out "Notion's Knowledge". A system akin to Airtable's Universe. Fostering a more cohesive community.
- Creating high quality pages to share with the community, like Evernote Design
- Launch a discovery project to learn why users have churned off of Evernote. I have some of this done
Recruiting
- Move the recruiting process from email onto Notion
- Creating an internship program with CMU's School of Design and/or Human Computer Interaction Institute. I started this
- Target potential employees who have already built products and services in the knowledge organization space. I did this.
Marketing
- Launch a partnerships with different niche groups. Similar to Are.na
- Launch a discovery project to learn what niches Notion can be focused into
- Giving a rundown of all we learned when researching and launching find
Professional goal
I love to work in multiple roles and fill team gaps while a company is growing and learning. My goal isn't to find a perfect position, but rather the perfect company. I applied to both the Community and Recruiter roles as I have plenty of experience in both and would be happy to fill both positions for the right company.
